Wavespell and Castle
Each of the 260 Kin combines a seal with a tone. Thirteen Kin form a wavespell, four wavespells a castle of 52 Kin, and five castles complete the Tzolkin.
The Wavespell of 13 Days
Each wavespell passes through the thirteen steps from purpose (tone 1) to presence (tone 13). Each tone asks a question and brings an action, a power and an essence. The seal of the first day gives the wavespell its name and its theme.

The Five Castles
Four wavespells form a castle of 52 Kin. The spiral shows the 260 Kin of the Tzolkin, from Kin 1 at the center to Kin 260 at the edge; that is why the green castle, the last one, lies on the outer turn here. In the 3D scene further down, the five castles are arranged differently: the green one at the center and the other four around it.
