The Yellow Sun is the twentieth seal and closes the circle. Its action is to enlighten, its essence is life, its power is universal fire. It gives light and warmth without asking to whom, and makes visible what was in the dark. To enlighten here means to see clearly and to let others see. Yellow is the color of ripening, and in the Sun the whole round of seals ripens into wholeness. It belongs to the matrix time cell and the Polar Earth family, and opens the Fire Clan, to which the Dragon, Wind, Night, and Seed also belong; thus from its light the next beginning is born. In the planet holon it corresponds to Pluto; there the galactic-karmic flow begins, running inward. In Hunab Ku 21, it carries the archetype of the Enlightened One. The Sun reminds you that every life has a light of its own, which warms when it is shared.

The Overtone tone is the fifth tone of the wavespell; with it a new level begins. Its action is to empower, its power is radiance, its essence is commanding. Like an overtone that vibrates along with the fundamental note and gives it brilliance, it gathers the force of the first four tones and makes it act outward. Its question is: How can I best empower myself? In Maya numerals a single bar represents five, a first whole formed by four parts and a center. It belongs to tones 1, 5, 9, and 13, in which the color of the wavespell’s seal recurs. Commanding here means taking charge of your own doing, not that of others. The Overtone tone invites you to use your abilities consciously and to radiate clearly what is already within you.
